To create an environment, through sport, that fosters growth and opportunity both as players and people.
Our Program
North Delta Softball Association is a volunteer, community-based Softball organization. We have a long history of providing affordable means for boys and girls to play the game of Softball. North Delta offers programs from the grassroots level right through the highest levels of National competition. We are very proud to have sent many athletes on to college scholarships as well as to represent Canada on our National and Elite Teams.
At the grassroots level, the Learn To Play program teaches girls and boys the basic sport and softball mechanics in a safe and fun atmosphere, with a small player-to-coach ratio.
Once the foundation is built, our players are given the opportunity to play at the recreational level or pursue higher levels of competition. Our Rep B programs proudly wear the SUNFIRE black and yellow, while our Rep A program is represented by the blue, yellow and red of the HEAT.
At every level of play our coaches strive to teach their athletes the skills to succeed on and off the field.
Our Coaches
North Delta Softball Association is pleased to provide extensive training for our coaches at every level of competition. This allows our volunteer coaches to (age- and developmentally-appropriately) teach their athletes the best they can. The hard work and dedication of North Delta coaches has truly paid off. We are very proud to have had coaches named ‘Coach of the Year’ by Softball BC. We are also very proud to have several senior players return to the organization to coach at all levels of competition.
Our Officials
In addition to providing an opportunity for boys and girls to learn to play softball, North Delta offers an opportunity to be a part of the softball community, and earn some money by becoming an umpire!
Our umpires are among the best-trained in the Province. We are proud to have sent many on to officiate at the Provincial, National, and International levels.
