NORTH DELTA SOFTBALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
North
Delta Softball Association offers 2 scholarships each year in the amount of
$300.00.
The scholarship is awarded to a student who will either:
1 - Graduate high school in June 2013
or
2 - Who are, or will be, attending a post secondary institution as of September
2013.
The Membership Committee of the North Delta Softball Association reviews the
applications and brings forward their recommendation to the full Executive who
then decides on the recipients. The scholarship requires that the applicant
intends to continue their education at a recognized post secondary institution.
Eligible students are asked to apply in writing.
There is no form for this application; however, the following must be included
in your letter of application:
1.
The number of years you have played softball, coached, volunteered, worked as a
field crew or umpired in North Delta.
2. Your continuing education aspirations.
3. Copies of your last two years of high school grades.
4. A description of how you have contributed to the betterment of the sport of softball and North Delta Softball Association.
*Preference
will be given to applicants who are currently involved in North Delta Softball
Association as a player, coach, volunteer, field crew or umpire.
Applications must be post-marked by April 30, 2013.
